My first ever carrot cake

I got this recipe from mamafami's fotopage. It's amongst the best carrot cake I've ever tasted. I didn't do the cream cheese frosting because the cake finish within the day, means it's tasty! But I took it out from the oven too early, should have wait for another 5-10 mins more, that's is why the top texture is not very nice..

Puding Jagung (Sweet corn Pudding)

 
 
 
For me, the corn pudding my mom's version is the easiest to make even you are new to cooking! Just combine the 4 ingredients and cook until it becomes creamy & thick.

RECIPE :

1 can sweet corn
1 can custard flour
1 can sugar
5 can coconut milk

Method :
Combine all ingredient in a pot and cook until creamy..

*use the same corn can to measure the other ingredient

Dari Nagasaki ke Ariake, semuanya pasal ultraman.. Satu taman ni penuh ddengan ultraman. Sampaikan restoran kat situ ada hidangan nasi ultraman gak, tapi tak sempat ambik gambar nasi ultraman tu pasal bebudak dah bising2 takutkan ultraman tu.. ish ish.. nasib baik sempat bergambar sikit..

Hello to all! This is my very first entry of this fotopage. I am inspired by kak HANIELIZA and MAMAFAMI to do this. This is actually like my diary of recipe & cooking. I am just a newbie in cooking as I don't like to cook before, for me it's leceh and I've experienced many failure in cooking, so I decided to rest first from trying a new recipe until I see kak liza and mamafami's fotopages. It's indulged me!

From the newbie who tries to cook, I present you : LAMINGTON COOKIE

RECIPE :

Ingredients ;

200gm cooking chocolate
125gm butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 3/4 cup wheat flour )
1 teaspoon baking powder ) sifted
1/4 cup dessicated coconut (kelapa parut kering)

Method;

1) Combine cooking chocolate, butter and brown sugar in a saucepan and melt them in a
low heat until well blended, off from the heat and let it cool.
2) After cool, mix it with egg and sifted flour, mix well until a dough is formed.
3) Refrigate the dough for about 15-30 mins.
4) Shape the dough to your favourite and coat it with the dessicated coconut.
5) Bake for about 15-20 mins on 160C or 180C.

*The cooking time may vary depends on the oven heat. I cooked until I see the dessicated coconut looks a little brown and the cookies smells from the oven. Actually I forgot what time I've put the cookies in the oven so I just used the method.
*I didn't coat the dessicated coconut for the half of the dough because my children don't like, it still taste nice.
