Choclate chip cookie & Devil's Food Cupcake

Devil Food's cupcake
My daughter Husna always ask when I'm gonna to make choclate chip, I said, nantilah, nantilah! Bukannya apa, kat jepun ni choclate chip mahaii.. La ni pun tgh order from my sis at malaysia suruh pos brg makanan (ada stok coklat chip sekali), tapi tak pos lagi pasal sibuk dgn kolej, masuk semester baru busy sikit, pastu my mom pulak masuk spital, darah tinggi, lagilah busy dia. So.. fikirkan si husna teringin, kesianlah jugak, apa yang saya buat, beli coklat bar and crushkannya. Jadilah choclate chip yg takde rupa chip pun , hehe... Ala... bukan dia sedar pun, asalkan rasanya ada dahlah.. Lagi murah! Resepi choclate chip cookie ni dapat dari my favourite cooking book, BETTY CROCKER COOKBOOK. Hmm... sedap jugak, cookie pun naik ok, alhamdulilah menjadi! Kat Jepun ni kalau masakan tak jadi rasa sayang sangat coz barang kat sini mahal.Husna pun enjoys her cookies very much, adiknya ngikut jer tu! Even me, the choclate lover like it!

Another recipe is Devil's Food Cupcake. I got this recipe from cupcake blog. I'm sure many of cupcakes lover know this page. I like this recipe, it's easy to prepare, I don't use mixer at all, just my wooden spoon. Unfortunately, Syahreena, my second daughter poured some onagiri (japanese rice) inside the cake batter, dia ni mmg suka buat exprimen apa2 pun, nasib baiklah sempat keluarkan onagiri tu balik, adalah tinggal sipi2 tu dlm cake batter. Here are the recipes :

CHOCLATE CHIP COOKIE (BETTY CROCKER)

Ingredients:

A
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 large egg

B
2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup nuts
2 cups semisweet choclate chip

Method :

1. Mix B altogether in a medium bowl.
2. Beat A in a large bowl untill well mix.
3. Stir in B ( dough will be stiff)
4. Drop dough by teaspoon on the greased pan.
5. Bake for 10-12 mins for chewy and 15-20 mins for crunchy cookie.

*If using self-rising flour, omit baking soda and salt.

Devil's Food Cupcake

Ingredients :

2 cups flour
2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cup milk
2 eggs

Method :

1. Mix everything except eggs.
2. Mix on low speed until incorporated.
3. Beat on high speed for 2 minutes.
4. Add eggs and beat for high speed for 2 minutes.
5. Bake for 30 minutes or until the skewer comes out clean.
